Brugge in Belgium. This is the 90metre tower of the town hall.
We had to make this a quick stop as we were running low on time.
Brugge is now a tourist attraction due to its architecture and buildings. For 400 years buildings and architecture in Brugge did not change and was not updated. The river that they imported and exported through, dried up having very serious effects of their economy. The town became very poor and no maintenance was done on any of their buildings. Today however they have the money to keep these amazing constructions in good shape and thus many people flock to see such old structures in such fine condition.
