Winchester Mystery House in San Jose.
This was the room she died in
This is a Tiffany stained glass window. The most expensive window in the house.
The view from the 4th floor.
It was so much fun. Our tour guide spoke very fast so it was hard to take it all in.
The area she used to spy on her servants.
I know you probably cant see this but-
This room is where Mrs Winchester used to hold her dinners for the spirits. Ghosts really.
The front of the house. The gardens were really nice.
Talk about fun. Mrs Winchester definately had a few screws loose though.
It was designed so that when light struck it, it would cast an amazing pattern of colour. Mrs Winchester had it installed in such a place that full sunlight will never strike it. Thus its beauty will never be seen and its purpose never fulfilled.
Also the floor Mrs Winchester used to spy on her servants.
David and I were always bringing up the rear. That way you could open every door and peer in every room. Crazy house.
its one of the reasons the house is legally declared haunted. If you look carefully at this stain you might be able to see a boys head facing west. It took me a while. Really its just a water stain. Freaky.
Those windows she had made especially. They contain random words taken from Shakespeare. Apparently the spirits communicated to Mrs Winchester what they should say.
