Sharon is the best. Check out what was awaiting us when we arrived for our stay. Most hotels dont take care of their guests this well. Also Sharon had a beautiful home cooked meal waiting for us. yummo. Thanks Sharon :)
Jen, Sam and myself stand on the edge of the ruins. The easiest way to describe it is to get you to imagine a mini Colloseum.
Jen says she doesnt like photos
Hehehe, bowling in Newport. Kristel won the first game and I think Sam won the second. It was a cool bowling alley, they had an amusement arcade and large bar with pool tables all in the same building. Very cool.
Sam focus' all his attention on the balls. Its Australia vs Wales- nothing to joke about :)
It was very chilly that day. I think Sam was wearing thongs. :)
Here I am with Cardiff Bay in the background
Cardiff won so it made standing in the cold holding a beer all very worth while. The game was very interesting and Kristel and I found one particular player who deserved added attention, adding to the amusement of the match.
Isn't this a good action shot? We had heaps of action in the second half- these guys hit hard and lots of it was very audible.
Go the Blues!
Even though this building and site are quite old, it is still enchanting.
Check out the huge audio guides. Its a weapon. Oh, its the thing I'm holding.
The water is amazingly warm and steam is constantly rising from the surface. You can easily imagine men walking around in Toga's and others bathing in this pool.
Isn't the building ausome?
When walking around the main bath and other rooms you really do feel like your stepping back in time
No joke, thats what it was called. That Sam's uncle and his partner in the middle.
Here is Jen holding an ice pack to my face after we returned from out short night out. Thats Alex in the background, he volunteered to take my blood covered clothes. The Welsh really are to kind. :)
I love that name.
Georgia, Me, Sharon, Kristel and Felicity. I can't remember what we were gossiping about then, but it was good. :)
Kristel and I volunteered to take a group photo for everyone. Thanks heaps to everybody for having us- we had an ausome day.
Wyre Piddle is quite small and very cute.

The day after the knock
Is it broken? nah. fractured? hmm, we may never know :)
Sharon and I out the front of their family home. They have a really lovely view from their front door overlooking lots of other houses down in the valley below
Its quite cold and what is he wearing this time? boardshorts :)
I took this one on the way to the pub :)
