This is at a great restaurant in Napa.
This is Silverado's winery in the Napa Valley.
The view from the patio connected to their tasting room. Nice vineyards arn't they?
Ah, nothing better than California sun and a glass of fine wine
Silverado's white wines fermenting away.
We spent one night in Sonoma and one night in Napa. For some weird reason none of my photos from Sonoma were up to standard.
It was a Mexican place called the Red Hen- from memory :) What you see before you is a yummy Quesadilla. Its kinda of like a giant pizza pocket but made with totilla's with a cheeze filling and just about anything else you like. SO yum. I had fajita's for main. I ate FOUR of them. So full. Thank goodness for the pitcher of Margherita to chase it down with.
David and I did a tasting here. I was SO good. David ended up becoming a member.
The smell of those Oak barrels was amazing. Brillient.
We did have a really nice dinner there and the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Our accommodation was really cute to and came with a courtyard and a water feature.
If you guessed gum tree you would be 100% correct. I can't believe they have imported them. You cant find them all over the place. At least they havn't planted stringy bark- they make so much mess.
